Making a Modern Woodland Wedding
Being our first shoot, Esse wanted to capture a quaint celebration. Heather, the owner of Stems Atlanta, played a vital role in this styled wedding at Perrin Studios in Clarkston, GA. Known for reflecting nature in her design notes, Heather’s use of vivid roses and ranunculus made the head and sweetheart tables swoon-worthy.
An equally important piece of this shoot, we tapped the best tableware company in Metro Atlanta. Valarie, the owner of The Prissy Plate, is based out of Cartersville, GA, and helped us handpick the unique flatware.
The wedding invites and menus for this shoot were produced and designed by Mirely Carbel, owner of For The Press. For The Press is a petite letterpress studio based out of the Kirkwood neighborhood of Atlanta with a focus on creating handmade quality paper goods. The design of the envelopes for the invites proved to be mind-blowing! The delicate flowers were hand-pressed. Mirely’s talent is amazing and we always love working with her.
The boards used for the arch were created by proportional.design. proportional.design is a small-fry studio based in Atlanta, Ga building functional objects. They made these wonderful boards in a time pinch and delivered beautiful results! Esse looks forward to working with them on many projects this summer!
These beautiful and glorious photos were taken by Sam Pham, a good friend of Esse! Their attention to detail created an intentional and special gallery.
This shoot was truly a community and family event for Esse. We are truly grateful to everyone who helped make this shoot happen and would like to give special thanks to Hannah Schindwolf and Amber Adams for taking the time out of your day to assist us.
